I think you need to specify a difference between websites and web applications.
I know I’ve become very reliant on GMail, Google Reader, also, Shozu is pretty handy, but I don’t think there is any website that I absolutely can’t do without.
Although, I can imagine some people couldn’t do without facebook.

First and foremost, I can’t live without MyBlogLog. Not just to keep up with all my blogs, but it helps me keep up with my fellow bloggers.
In 2nd place would be my blogs. I know that’s more than 1, but I love all my blogs the same, kinda like my kids.
And the last one is webboggle. I’m hopelessly addicted to this game. I may need a 12 step program for this one. LOL

My blog most definitely is the one website that I cannot live without. I know it’s new and not the most traffic-filled blog and some of my posts even make me think “what?” but I love my blog nonetheless. There are many other sites that I use a lot, but I am sort of shy “in real life” and I enjoy being able to express myself.

Other than common use applications like email and search (Google for me), the sites I don’t think I could live without would probably be the following:
Digg - for keeping up to date on interesting articles and getting a good laugh.
Netvibes - helps me to manage my email, daily blog reads, to-do lists, and more in one convenient location, and it’s now my homepage.
CardRunners - for keeping my poker skills sharp.

For news and sport - the BBC and the Guardian.
Where I live online - Flickr, Wordpress and Facebook
Community - The People’s Forum (for thinking Evertonians everywhere!)
For music - Said the Gramophone
Nice site Matt, sorry for not hyperlinking but I got to get to work!

Google! My email, feed reader and daily web search are all powered by Google. Not to say most of my blog’s traffic are sent by Google too. And of course, Google AdSense although it sucks big time this month.
