After Erik Karey guest blogged Network Your Way to Success, a reader by the name of Ken asked if there is “any guideline for network[ing] around in blog space.”  I thought this would be a good opportunity to find out: what websites and services (online or offline) do you use for networking?

    I love BlogCatalog personally if I had to pick a blogger networking site.

    But a lot of my networking occurs quite simply on other blogs by simply commenting on posts where I have something to say. This is a good way to get yourself noticed, especially if you can be creative and candid in your response.

    I didn’t find out about BlogCatalog until after using MyBlogLog for some time, though the two are very similar.

    I also joined LinkedIn earlier today, and I’m finding a ton of contacts I’ve had through my short work career in addition to other people I’ve met online. It looks to be a great networking resource for all things online as well as offline.

    Hi everyone. :-) Hi Matt, it’s been a while since I’ve commented. :-)

    I joined Zaadz.com about a month ago. A social networking site with blogs, discussion groups, etc. Currently, it’s my favorite social networking site (and actually the only one I’ve been really using so far).

    I might start using MySpace pretty soon. I have a MySpace account but haven’t used it yet.

    I finally figured out how to upload my avatar to MyBlogLog. (There was a glitch that was obstructing me from even doing that - I had to shut off my Norton Internet Security and use Firefox). So now, I’m probably going to use that more too.

    I’ll have to check out BlogCatalog and Linked In. Thanks for mentioning them. :-)
