Mutual Blog Review
March 16th, 2007 by Matt HugginsIn an effort to get reciprocal links with other blog authors and publishers, I decided to offer a mutual blog review program. The idea is to provide an honest look into one another’s blog such that readership can increase while possibly offering areas of improvement. Considering my blog is new as of this year, I know I can surely benefit from an influx of readers (granted I continue to publish content at a reasonable rate), and I know there are others that are seeking the same thing.
My criteria for this mutual exchange isn’t extensive, and I think it is generally reasonable. I’m also open to requirements when writing a review for other blogs, so long as they are “reasonable” and I can be honest in my review. Rest assured, it’s in my best interest to give you a fair an honest review while still attempting to increase your readership as I don’t want potential reviewers to be deterred from exchanging offers with me!
With that said, here are the things I am interested in seeing in a blog review:
- When linking to my site, include a link to my homepage. I would prefer to have the anchor text read something like “make money blogging” or “make money online“, but I of course will accept anything that allows you to provide an honest review.
- Include a link to this specific blog post with the anchor text reading “mutual blog review“.
