MattHuggins.com Breaks Into Technorati Top 100,000

I just wanted to share that my blog is now within the Technorati top 100,000, specifically at 98,958. I remember being excited when it previously jumped from over 800,000 to about 445,000, and again when it jumped to 233,000.

Obviously an increase from 233,000 to 99,000 is not as big as the prior jumps; however, having a better Technorati rank is exponentially difficult. In any case, I’m happy with the growth. I’m constantly looking to improve my blog and provide content that is interesting and (hopefully) educational. I’m sure I could have even better stats if I could get all the content up here that I’d really like to. I’ll simply have to keep striving to improve my writing and time management habits in order to provide more content in less time!

    Congrats Matt! Your hardwork will definitely pay off, no doubt about it. From my short term experience, I don’t really see any significance or obvious benefit that a good technorati ranking brings to my blog, except giving myself great motivation to plough on.

    Well done Matt, I just recently hit the 200,000 mark with 100,00 the plan for the end of the year.

    So I know how happy you must be.

    I’ll probably post another update when I reach top 50,000. I imagine it getting exponentially difficult to improve, so reaching 50,000 will probably be a bit of a trek. We’ll see!

    Congratulations. That’s great. I have one blog in the teens, one in the 20s, one in the 30s, and one hovering around 1,000,000.

    Sometimes I think it would be better to concentrate on traffic and not even worry about rankings.
