Making Money in Affiliate Marketing

Several months ago I came across a site called ClickBank. It offered a way to make money from promoting other peoples’ products, and I thought it seemed like a great opportunity. Somehow I completely forgot about it. That is, I forgot about it until yesterday when I came across a step by step workshop that explains how one man is making money from their program.

I just started reading his posts on the topic, and it seems interesting. I look forward to reading the rest, and I thought others who are interested in the prospect of affiliate marketing might be interested in reading his case study as well.

He currently has 8 steps as of this writing, so make sure you read them in the right order. Here’s a summary with direct links to his current writings:

  1. Step 1: Market Research
  2. Step 2: Product Selection
  3. Step 3: Keywords
  4. Step 4: Landing Pages & Keyword Channels
  5. Step 5: Testing & Tracking
  6. Step 6: Selling From Your Auto-responder
  7. Step 7: Getting Targeted Traffic from AdWords
  8. Step 8: Analyzing the Data

I’d be interested to hear if anyone decides to follow his writings for themselves to see how it works out. It might be something I have to look into more at a later date. If nothing more, I think I’ll at least have to look into what he writes about AdWords.

I ran across that site recently as well and I’ve been making money using some of the techniques. In fact, I’m talking with a guy who makes around $200/day using it.

I need to make around $250/day personally, so I’m following his advice closely. :)

But yes, it has been working to generate around $15-20 extra per day or $450/mo after advertising expenses.
