As I mentioned in a prior post, ReviewMe now has the ReviewMe Marketplace where bloggers can select available opportunities to blog about. When I first entered the marketplace, I was greeted with five opportunities, and there was one in particular that I considered to be highly relevant to my readers. As such, I decided I would provide my own perspective on the service with a SoloSEO Review.

What is SoloSEO?

SoloSEO LogoAs the name implies, SoloSEO is about providing a do-it-yourself solution for Search Engine Optimization. SoloSEO recognizes the time and difficulty involved with optimizing a website for search engines. In an effort to simplify the process, SEO offers a collection of professional tools to aide in the task.

There are many tools available, including but not limited to keyword research, keyword site scan, content optimization, and link building. Reporting is included for tracking keyword rankings in addition to various competition-based statistics.

SoloSEO currently charges $29/month, which includes up to 5 domain names. However, there is a free trial available in order for SoloSEO to demonstrate that you will truly benefit from the service.

The SoloSEO User Interface

When first logging into SoloSEO, the navigation may seem a bit overwhelming. There are eight main link categories — dashboard, tasks, reports, keywords, content, links, more, and feedback — each of which has its own subset of links.

Here you will find a step-by-step checklist to get you started in the right direction for optimizing your website. Clicking through each active task one at a time will take you to the associated tool or sub-service within the site. Once a task is completed, you can easily mark it as such so that you know you’re one step closer to having your site fully optimized.

All In All…

SoloSEO looks like a great opportunity for those who are interested in performing quality SEO but cannot afford a professional to handle the task. The two-week free trial alone is enough incentive to get started. You might find that it’s something that you wish to continue using as you publish more content to and further attempt to promote your website, and at a price as low as $29/month, it looks to be worth it for the potential benefits.
