I was looking back at an old post I made in mid-March entitled Market Your Blog where I listed some stats about my blog from offering Mutual Blog Reviews. I have to admit that I’m a bit impressed with some of the growth my blog has experienced since then and now.

At the time of the post, I had a Technorati ranking of 445,112, which was an increase of about 46.1% from its previous rank. Taking another look today, my Technorati rank is now at 233,481, which is another 49.8% increase from what I last reported. Links continue to point to my blog from a variety of sources, which has also helped to boost my PageRank to 3 (previously 0) during the last update to Google’s data centers.

Furthermore, I find myself receiving traffic from various repeated keywords as reported by Google Analytics and WP-SlimStat. Examples of high ranking keywords/key phrases including variations of “url mask,” “quixtar,” and “entrepreneurial blog” just to name a few.

Hopefully the trend will continue, as it’s always nice to know that what you put your effort into is being put to good use. Additionally, statistics like Google PageRank and Technorati rank are utilized by various third party services in determining eligibility. I’m always open to new, creative ideas on how to increase blog readership regardless.
