Biggest AdSense Money-Makers

January 21st, 2007 by Matt Huggins

I just came across this list called The Internet’s Biggest Google Whores, and I thought I’d share. It tells what the top money-makers are making from Google AdSense.

Note that the top money-maker is the creator of PlentyOfFish, one of the sites I’m planning to compete against with my dating website. The guy is obviously good at ad placement and market optimization from what I’ve read up on him, but his site is seriously hideous. As I’ve said before, I think mimicking it with a reliable and responsive website that is even slightly more aesthetically pleasing could take away some of his members (or even have members who join both sites for their own comparison).

In response to your message in the AdSense Fire forums, sure– let’s do the link exchange. What link would you like me to link to? :)

Also- I was planning on making a dating website also. I think I could do a 10X better job, but of course.. what matters in the end is what other people think.

But, yeah– I’m with you on that one. Good luck to you on your project.

Hey Scott, the link you put up is great, thanks much. :) If you want me to link elsewhere from what I have now, let me know.

About the dating website, is it something you started working on? What languages and technologies are you familiar with and planning to use?

I’m another PHP/MySQL coder. I’ve worked with Perl, ASP, ASP.NET, SQL and that whole lot but I’m sticking with the PHP and MySQL combo.

I haven’t started on coding the site yet as I’ve been trying to find a decent domain name. :)

Oh by the way, thank you for the back link!

I can honestly feel your pain on this one!

My site doesn’t seem like much yet but I am not really through with it yet.

I have seen an increase in earnings since I started doing blogs. This is great.
